Tricia Carson

Co-Owner & Senior Living Advisor

For Tricia Carson, helping seniors and their families is more than a career—it’s a calling.

Tricia has been an educator for 18 years and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Education. Her professional experience also includes working in hospice and assisted living, giving her a unique understanding of the emotional and practical challenges families face when making decisions about senior care.

Tricia and her husband, Casey, have been married for 25 years and have built a family that means everything to her. They have three sons and a sweet daughter-in-law: Kyler and Maddox, Kooper, and Krue. Tricia often says that being a wife and mom has taught her some of life’s most important lessons about love, patience, advocacy, and caring for others.

Those same values are at the heart of Birdie’s Senior Living Solutions.

Tricia understands that choosing senior living can feel overwhelming. Families are often balancing emotions, finances, medical needs, and the wishes of their loved one while trying to make an important decision. Her goal is to make that process easier by listening first, understanding each family’s unique situation, and helping them find options that fit their needs.

As a Lubbock-area local, Tricia is passionate about being a trusted resource for families throughout the South Plains. She believes every senior deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect—and every family deserves someone in their corner.

“My goal is simple: to walk alongside families during a difficult season and help them feel less overwhelmed, more informed, and confident in the next step.”

Sarah Kelcy

Co-Owner & Senior Living Advisor

For Sarah Kelcy, helping seniors and their families through life’s biggest transitions is more than a profession—it’s a passion.

Sarah is a co-founder of Birdie’s Senior Living Solutions and a West Texas local who understands the importance of family, community, and having someone you can trust when making difficult decisions for a loved one. Her heart for serving others is what led her to Birdie’s, where she enjoys getting to know each family personally, listening to their needs, and helping them find a senior living option where their loved one can feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home.

Before starting Birdie’s, Sarah worked in education and senior living. Those experiences have shaped the way she supports families—with patience, clear communication, and a genuine willingness to walk alongside them every step of the way.

Sarah and her husband, Clark, are raising their two children, Keaston and CJ, in New Home, Texas. Much of their family life revolves around their kids’ sports and activities, church, school, and their West Texas community. When she isn’t working with families through Birdie’s, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, being at the lake, playing mahjong and pickleball, and cheering her kids on from the sidelines.

For Sarah, Birdie’s is much more than a business. It’s an opportunity to serve families during a season that can often feel overwhelming and to make sure they never feel like they have to navigate it alone.
